Old Vetus
The region where the Commonwealth origination, Old Vetus is filled with merchants and steeped in tradition. The Vetushian people are exceptional sailors and diplomats, known for their shrewd intelligence.
Territory
Old Vetus has a temperate maritime climate and has a long coastline. The region has mild summers and cold winters. Old Vetus is very rainy and general prone to storms and floods.
Old Vetus is characterized by lowlands and rolling hills, with many forests and swamps. The region has a lot of rivers which made it an important trading center. The area was also known for its fertile soil, which made it a center of agriculture and food production. But the increasing number of floods have largely decreased food production in the last decades.

Vetushka
The city of Vetushka is the capital of Old Vetus. Vetushka itself is located on the Giznad River and has a thriving port. The city is surrounded by defensive walls to protect against flooding and has several gates, including the famous Prosperity Gate, which was built centuries ago. The city is also home to many spiritual as well as numerous marketplaces and guildhalls.
Oshawa
The city of Oshawa is port city and a bustling center of trade and commerce, with ships from all over the known world arriving to unload their goods. The city had a strategic location along the major waterways and the coast. Oshawa has direct connection to Vetushka leading to and through the famous Prosperity Gate. The city's economy was dependent on maritime trade, with a variety of merchants, craftsmen, and laborers working in and around the port area.
Zabasha
Zabasha less of a city and more of a farming community. The area was once a thriving agricultural center with fertile soil and a temperate climate. However, recent floods have devastated the region, causing extensive damage to the crops and farmland. The floods have also led to a shortage of food and resources, threatening the survival of the local population and the economy of the region.
Society
Old Vetus doesn’t have a government anymore. Since the founding of the Commonwealth, the people of Old Vetus have fully entrusted themselves to the Commonwealth. However, since the people are very proud of their heritage, they have refused to give up their land or identity.
Culture
The people of Old Vetus are known for their love of celebration, holding lavish feasts once a month where music, dancing, and singing were enjoyed by all. Charisma was highly valued in this society, and those who possessed it were often successful in politics and leadership roles. It is said that the Vetushian people played a major role in the founding of the Commonwealth of Vetus, using their charm and diplomatic skills to negotiate alliances and agreements with other regions. History
Due to their exceptional skills in sailing and trading, the Vetrushian people were able to establish connections with various regions throughout the known world, leading to the creation of alliances and trade routes. To strengthen these bonds further, their leader organized a meeting with other leaders from around the world to establish a central hub for commerce and culture. This hub eventually became the foundation of the Commonwealth. However, due to the proximity of this new hub, the founding of the Commonwealth led to a decline in commerce and population throughout Old Vetus.
